Have you ever made changes to your calculator but then wished you could go back to how it was? With Version History, you can do just that. Version History allows you to go back and access up to 10 previously published versions of your calculator.

You can only restore published versions of your calculator. A version is saved each time you click Publish to make your calculator live.

What's Stored in Version History

The following elements are preserved in your Version History:

  • Calculator elements and questions
  • Form content - answer options, inputs, question descriptions, and media
  • Variables and calculations
  • Layout and design elements
  • Theme selection

Frequently Asked Questions

Does Version History show what changed between versions?

No, you cannot see a comparison of changes between versions. To review a previous version, you'll need to load it in the editor to see its content.

What happens if I load a previous version without publishing it?

When you load a previous version without publishing, it becomes your current draft. Your live calculator remains unchanged until you publish again.

Can I restore to a previous version and then to a more recent one?

Yes! You can move back and forth between any of the 10 saved versions. For example, if you restore to version 3 and then realize version 5 was better, you can go back and load version 5 instead.

What isn't stored in Version History?

  • Calculator name/title
  • Settings not related to calculator elements
  • Previously collected submissions and results
  • Integration configurations (except for direct element connections)
  • Calculator sharing settings
  • Theme settings

Can I store more than 10 versions?

No, Version History automatically keeps your 10 most recent published versions. Older versions are permanently removed from history as newer versions are published.
